Feast Coast Hospitality, which oversees hospitality brands Original Grain, XO Taco, Fly Bird fried chicken, and Hot Stuff Sauce is looking for a results-driven restaurant manager to manage a new restaurant operation in Syracuse with a focus on leadership, coaching and mentoring staff focused on thoughtful and intentional hospitality.

 Responsibilities:
  • Team building and coaching.
  • Managing daily food and beverage operations.
  • Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering supplies for restaurant operations.
  • Building positive relationships with employees, customers and vendors.
  • Adhering to the food and beverage budget.
  • Following food and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
  • Assisting with catering and large events.
  • Creating and enforcing restaurant policies, targets/goals, and SOPs.
  • Hiring, training, and managing food and beverage staff.
  • Teach, coach and mentor all Front of House hospitality employees including hosts, servers and bartenders. 
  • Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages.
  • Culinary or food service management degree may be advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant POS software.
  • Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great delegation skills.
  • Team Player.
  • Leader by example.
