Double Cheese is a neighborhood burger spot built on doing simple food right—quality ingredients, consistent prep, and a kitchen that stays ready for anything.
The Role:
You set the kitchen up to win. From slicing to portioning to stocking, you make sure everything is prepped, organized, and ready before the first ticket hits.
What You’ll Do:
- Prep ingredients to spec (produce, proteins, sauces, etc.).
- Follow recipes and portion standards consistently.
- Keep prep areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Label, date, and store all food properly.
- Support line cooks and kitchen flow during service when needed.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
What You Bring:
- Kitchen or prep experience preferred (we’ll train the right person).
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to stay organized and work independently.
- Solid work ethic and reliability.
- Team-first mindset.
